Seaview Boatyard

We brought our Nordhavn 55 to Seaview North boatyard in Bellingham after spending the summer in Alaska. She was due for some service to the ABTrac stabilizers and they have an authorized service person (Jeff) to handle it. We had some other wishes to accomplish as well and they assured us they could handle it. We had our boat pressure washed, and painted. We needed fiber glass repair, a salt water wash down, an Airmax weather station installed, our above the console dashboard hinged for easy access, our dry stack extended, and best of all they designed and installed a 180 gallon per minute anchor wash to remove all the sticky, heavy mud we collected on our 400ft of chain and anchor almost every time anchored in Alaska. Many thanks to both Jeffs, Mark, Jon, Derrick, Sean, Brad, David, Joe, Rob, Bailey, and Eduardo. They were all great to work with, personable, and most importantly did a wonderful job. We will be back for future services.

As you undoubtedly saw (and perhaps took with some relief), ‘Kodama’ slipped away from your dock in the afternoon of July 3 after an autumn, winter, and spring of projects under the care of Seaview North. It felt a long process, but she is much improved for all the hard work by many people.

It is rare that I write a review, good or bad, about a boatyard or marine related business. However, the extraordinary service, the exceptional work quality, disciplined approach and professionalism demonstrated by Seaview North personnel in Bellingham, WA warrants recognition.

I wanted to email you and thank you and everyone at Seaview Boatyard for their patience with me and their expertise in taking my old mast off and installing the new (to me) one. It was a very positive experience and much appreciated. Please forward my thanks to your team.
