Full-service boatyard in Ensenada established in 1987 with a 75-ton travelift and 50-slip marina.
Work done on time using quality materials and expert craftsmanship. Yard manager Victor Garcia is honest, professional and bilingual. I'll come back here for sure. Jeff from the Passport 43' Joy
Baja Naval was amazing to work with. Ask for Roberto! He is attentive to all the details, speaks English perfectly and is an absolute pleasure to work with. They started off by doing a bottom job and fixing the PSS seals that another yard completely screwed up. The work they did was excellent, so I asked them to do a handful of additional work including electrical and plumbing. Everything was completed professionally and they were never pushy or trying to sell additional work. I completed all of that remotely, and when I arrived everything was handled. The ladies at the front desk were a joy to work with and they helped me complete the paperwork to depart Mexico and were very helpful in recommending some local places for us while we waited for weather.
Management keeps working with their staff to understand, then deliver 1st class, quality work. My boat was in Baja Naval long ago - 1996.
They do good work. And have all the right to charge whatever they want.. However, you pay the same as any shipyard in California so if your planning to go from southern California to Ensanada to get a deal. due to fuel and travel expenses you will pay double. I recommend staying in the States. Just my opinion.
Very professional and great facility. Always responsive... had a lot of work done there and would definitely go back.
